Experience Mitama Hot Spring

Getting There

  • By Car

    From central Yamanashi, take the Chuo Expressway (中央自動車道) towards Nagoya. Exit at Ichikawamisato IC (市川三郷IC) and follow the signs to Route 300. Continue on Route 300 for about 10 minutes, then turn onto Route 140 towards Ichikawamisato. Follow this road for approximately 5 minutes until you see the sign for Mitama Hot Spring on your left. There is parking available on-site.

  • By Train and Bus

    Start by taking the JR Chuo Line from your nearest station to Kofu Station (甲府駅). From Kofu Station, transfer to the Fujikyu Railway and take the train to Ichikawamisato Station (市川三郷駅). Once you arrive at Ichikawamisato Station, look for the bus stop outside the station. Take the local bus that goes to Mitama Onsen (みたま温泉). The bus ride takes about 20 minutes, and the fare is around 400 yen. Get off at the Mitama Onsen stop, and the hot spring will be a short walk from the bus stop.

  • By Taxi

    If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from either Kofu Station or Ichikawamisato Station. A taxi from Kofu Station will take approximately 30 minutes and cost around 5,000 to 6,000 yen, while a taxi from Ichikawamisato Station will take about 10 minutes and cost around 1,500 to 2,000 yen.
