Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving from Kofu, take Route 20 heading west. After approximately 25 km, merge onto Route 140 towards Ichikawamisato. Continue for about 10 km, and then turn left onto Otsuka Street. Mitama Hot Spring will be on your right after about 1 km, just past the intersection with Route 300. Look for the sign that says 'Mitama Onsen'.

  • Public Transportation

    To reach Mitama Hot Spring via public transportation from Kofu Station, take the JR Chuo Main Line to Ichikawamisato Station (approximately 25 minutes). From Ichikawamisato Station, exit and take the local bus (Nishiyatsushiro Bus) towards Otsuka. The bus ride takes about 15 minutes. Get off at the 'Mitama Onsen' stop. The hot spring will be just a short walk from the bus stop.

  • Taxi

    If you prefer a taxi, you can take one directly from Kofu Station to Mitama Hot Spring. The taxi ride will take approximately 30 minutes, depending on traffic. Just inform the driver of 'Mitama Onsen' located at 2608 Otsuka, Ichikawamisato. It is a well-known location, so the driver will be familiar with it.

    If you have rented a car, you can use a GPS navigation system. Input the address '2608 Otsuka, Ichikawamisato, Nishiyatsushiro District, Yamanashi 409-3611' and follow the directions provided. Ensure you have an international driving permit if you are a foreign tourist.
