Wanpaku Dome: A Children's Paradise

Wanpaku Dome, situated in the Yamanashi Fuefukigawa Fruit Park, is a vibrant and engaging indoor playground designed for children of all ages. This spacious dome was initially conceived as a tropical greenhouse, displaying a variety of exotic plants. However, it has since been repurposed into a dedicated play area where children can freely explore and have fun, no matter the weather outside. The dome features a range of play equipment, including a large climbing frame, slides, and a jungle gym, all set on a soft artificial turf. The design encourages physical activity, helping children develop their motor skills, balance, and imagination. Parents can relax on the provided benches while keeping a close watch on their children as they play within the dome's safe environment. Wanpaku Dome is connected to the Fruit Museum (くだもの館), which features exhibits about the history of fruit cultivation in Yamanashi, as well as interactive games and quizzes. The Fruit Museum also offers a baby room with diaper changing facilities, a nursing room, and a kids' space, making it a convenient and comfortable place for families with young children.
