Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, head towards Fujiyoshida City. From the Chuo Expressway, take the Fujiyoshida Exit. Follow Route 139 towards Fujiyoshida, and then turn onto Route 112. Continue on Route 112 until you see signs for Arakurayama Sengen Park. The parking lot is available nearby, but note that it may fill up quickly during peak tourist seasons. Parking fees might apply, so be prepared with cash.

• Public Transportation

  If you prefer public transport, take a train to Fujiyoshida Station via the Fujikyu Railway from either Otsuki or Kawaguchiko stations. Once at Fujiyoshida Station, you can take a local bus (the Fujikyu Bus) heading towards Arakurayama Sengen Park. The bus ride takes about 15-20 minutes, and the fare is typically around 200-300 yen. Please check the bus schedule ahead of time, as services may be limited, especially during early mornings or late evenings.

• Walking

  For those who are feeling adventurous and want to experience the area on foot, you can walk from Fujiyoshida Station to Arakurayama Sengen Park. The walk is approximately 3 kilometers and will take about 40-50 minutes. Head north from the station, following the signs towards the park. The route is relatively straightforward, but be prepared for some uphill walking as you approach the park.
