Car
If you are driving, head south on Route 210 from the center of Yufuin. Continue for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Route 402. Turn left onto Route 402 and follow the road for approximately 1 kilometer. You will see a sign for 由布院 草庵秋桜 (Yufuin Kosumosu) on your right at 1500 Yufuincho Kawakami. There is parking available on-site.

From Yufuin Station, exit the station and head to the bus stop located just outside. Take the bus heading towards 'Yufuin Onsen' (由布院温泉) or 'Kawakami' (川上). The fare is approximately 300 yen, and the journey takes about 10 minutes. You will want to get off at the 'Kawakami' stop. From there, it is a 5-minute walk: head east on the main road, and you will find 由布院 草庵秋桜 (Yufuin Kosumosu) at 1500 Yufuincho Kawakami on your left.
