If you're driving from the center of Yufuin, head south on Yufuin Main Street (Yufuin Chuo Dori) and follow the signs towards Yufuin Onsen. After approximately 1 km, turn left onto Route 210. Continue on this road for about 2 km. You will see the sign for Bussanji on your left at 1879 Yufuincho Kawakami, Yufu, Oita 879-5102. There is parking available on site.

From the Yufuin Station, you can take a local bus heading towards Yufuin Onsen. The bus stop is located just outside the station. Board a bus that is en route to 'Kawakami' and pay the fare, which is around 200 yen. After approximately 10 minutes, disembark at the 'Bussanji' bus stop.
