Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car from Rozel Bay to Portelet Beach, start by heading southwest on Rue de la Mare. Continue straight until you reach the A3 road. Turn left onto A3 and follow the signs toward St. Helier. As you approach St. Helier, take the exit toward La Route du Fort (B36). Keep following the B36 until you see signs for Portelet Beach. There is limited parking available near the beach, so plan accordingly. Note that parking may incur a small fee, typically around £2-£3 for a few hours.

• Public Transport

  For those using public transportation, you can catch a bus from Rozel Bay to St. Helier. The bus stop is located near the main road in Rozel Bay. Take the bus number 1 or 2 towards St. Helier. Once in St. Helier, transfer to bus number 12 or 15, which goes directly to Portelet Beach. The total journey may take around 30-45 minutes depending on wait times. Ensure you check the bus schedule in advance, as service frequency may vary.

• Walking

  If you prefer a scenic walk from Rozel Bay to Portelet Beach, you can head along the coastal paths. Begin at the beach in Rozel Bay, following the coastal path signs. The walk is approximately 3 miles and may take about 1-1.5 hours. It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes and bring water, as the path can be uneven in places. This route offers stunning views of the coastline, but be aware that it may not be suitable for everyone due to its length and terrain.
