If you are driving from anywhere in Saint John, head towards the A1 road. Follow the A1 southbound for approximately 5 kilometers. When you see signs for 'St. Aubin', take the exit towards the B36. Continue on the B36 until you reach Portelet Bay. Look for parking areas as you approach the bay. Keep in mind that parking may incur a fee, so have some cash or a card ready.
Public Transportation
To reach Portelet Bay via public transport, start by locating the nearest bus stop in Saint John. Take bus number 12 towards St. Helier. After about 15 minutes, get off at the stop for 'La Corbiere.' From there, you can either walk about 20 minutes down the coast towards Portelet Bay or take a local taxi for a quicker option, which will cost around £10.
