If you are traveling by car from Saint Mary, start by heading south on the A12 towards St. Helier. Continue on the A12 for approximately 5 miles. As you approach St. Helier, follow the signs for the A1 toward St. Aubin. After about 1 mile, take the exit for La Route de la Haule. Follow La Route de la Haule for about 1 mile, then turn left onto La Route de Portelet. Continue straight for about half a mile, and you will arrive at Portelet Bay. There is public parking available near the beach.

If you prefer to use public transportation, start by taking bus number 12 from Saint Mary to St. Helier. The bus ride takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in St. Helier, transfer to bus number 1, which goes toward St. Aubin. The bus ride will take about 15 minutes. Get off at the stop for La Route de Portelet. From the bus stop, it's a short walk down La Route de Portelet to reach Portelet Bay. Make sure to check the bus schedules for accurate timings. A single bus fare is approximately £2.50.
