    Getting There

    Car

    If traveling by car, you can reach the Great Temple by taking the Desert Highway south from Amman. Follow signs towards Petra and continue on the highway until you reach the city of Petra. Once in Petra, follow the signs to the Great Temple which is located within the archaeological site. There is a parking lot nearby where you can park your car.

    Public Transportation

    If using public transportation, you can take a JETT bus from the Abdali bus station in Amman to Petra. The bus ride takes approximately 3 hours. Once in Petra, you can either walk to the Great Temple within the archaeological site or hire a local guide to take you there. There may be additional entrance fees to the archaeological site that are not included in the bus ticket.
