If you are traveling by car, start from the nearest town, which is Madaba. Head south on the Dead Sea Road (Route 65). Follow the signs indicating 'Dead Sea' for approximately 30 km until you reach the Dead Sea area. There are multiple resorts and public beaches along the coastline; you can choose to stop at any of these locations to access the water.
Public Transportation
To reach the Dead Sea by public transportation, you can take a bus from Amman to Madaba. Buses depart from the South Bus Station in Amman and the journey takes about 30 minutes. Once in Madaba, you can take a taxi or a local bus heading towards the Dead Sea. Make sure to confirm with the driver that they will take you to the Dead Sea area. The taxi fare should be around 20-25 JOD, and local buses may cost less, approximately 5-10 JOD.

If you prefer a more direct route, you can hire a taxi from Amman straight to the Dead Sea. This option is more expensive, typically costing around 50-70 JOD, but it provides convenience as the driver can drop you off at your desired location along the coast.
