Getting There

• Public Bus

  From the main Dead Sea resorts, walk to the nearest bus stop (usually located near the entrance of your hotel). Look for a bus heading towards Madaba or Machaerus. The ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Ask the bus driver to drop you off at Machaerus, and be sure to mention the Hot Water Spring as a point of interest. Once you arrive in Machaerus, you will see signs pointing towards the Hot Water Spring. Follow the signs, which will lead you down a path towards the spring.

• Taxi or Ride-Sharing

  If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi or use a ride-sharing app to get to the Hot Water Spring. Simply provide the driver with the address: HHX6+4G, Machaerus. The journey should take around 20-30 minutes depending on traffic. Ensure you have local currency to pay the fare. Upon arrival, you may need to walk a short distance from where the vehicle drops you off to reach the spring.

• Walking Route

  For the adventurous, if you are near the Machaerus area, you can choose to walk to the Hot Water Spring. From your location, find a clear path leading towards Machaerus. The hike is approximately 2-3 kilometers and can take around 30-45 minutes. Ensure you have sufficient water and wear comfortable shoes, as the terrain can be uneven. Look for landmarks such as the Machaerus ruins to guide you along the way.
