Bus
Start at your accommodation in the Dead Sea area. Head to the nearest bus stop where you can catch a bus heading towards Madaba or Karak. Make sure to ask the driver if they stop at Wadi Mujib or the Mujib Nature Reserve. The journey should take about 30-45 minutes. Once you arrive at the stop closest to Wadi Mujib, you'll need to walk approximately 1 kilometer towards the entrance of the reserve.
Shared Taxi
From your location in the Dead Sea, look for a shared taxi, also known as 'service' in Jordan. These taxis typically wait near popular spots or bus stations. Once you find one, inform the driver that you want to go to Wadi Mujib. The ride will take around 30 minutes, and you can expect to pay a small fee per person. The taxi will drop you off at the entrance to Wadi Mujib.
Walking/Hiking (if nearby)
If you are staying at a hotel close to Wadi Mujib, you might consider walking. Head towards the main Dead Sea road (Dead Sea Road/Sweimeh Road) and follow the signs for Wadi Mujib. The distance from some hotels can be around 5-7 kilometers, so ensure you are prepared for a hike and bring water. This route may take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours depending on your pace.
