Car
From Al Karak Plateau, get onto the King’s Highway (Highway 35) heading north. Follow the highway for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach the junction with Highway 65. Take the exit onto Highway 65 towards the Dead Sea. Continue on this road for about 20 kilometers. Look for signs leading to public access points for swimming at the Dead Sea. You can park your car in designated parking areas, where there may be a small fee, typically around 1-3 JOD.

Public Transportation
From Al Karak, take a bus heading towards Amman. Ask the driver to drop you off at the intersection of Highway 65 towards the Dead Sea. This should cost approximately 5-7 JOD. Once you reach the intersection, you will need to walk or hitch a ride to the nearest public swimming area along the Dead Sea. Be prepared for a walk of about 2-3 kilometers, as public access points can be a bit distant from the main road.

For a more direct route, consider hiring a taxi from Al Karak to the Dead Sea. This is a convenient but more expensive option, costing around 25-35 JOD for a one-way trip. The taxi will take you directly to a public swimming area where you can enjoy free swimming in the Dead Sea. Make sure to discuss the fare beforehand and confirm that it includes waiting time if you plan to return with the same taxi.
