Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, start from the center of Jerash. Head southeast on the main road (Queen Nour St.) and follow the signs toward Dibbeen Forest Reserve. After approximately 10 kilometers, take a left onto the road leading to the reserve (look for signage indicating 'Dibbeen Forest Reserve'). Continue for about 3 kilometers until you reach the entrance of the reserve. There may be a small parking fee, so keep some Jordanian Dinars handy.

• Public Bus

  To reach Dibbeen Forest Reserve by public transportation, catch a bus from Jerash to Irbid. Buses leave frequently from the main bus station in Jerash. Once you reach Irbid, transfer to a local minibus or taxi that heads towards Dibbeen Forest. The minibus will drop you off near the entrance to the reserve. Be prepared for a short walk to the actual entrance if the bus doesn’t go all the way. The total cost for the bus rides should be around 2 to 3 Jordanian Dinars.

• Taxi

  For a more direct route, you can hire a taxi from Jerash directly to Dibbeen Forest Reserve. This is the quickest option and will take about 20 minutes depending on traffic. Agree on the fare beforehand; it should be around 10 to 15 Jordanian Dinars. Be sure to ask the driver to drop you off at the entrance of the reserve.

• Walking

  If you are already within the vicinity of Dibbeen Forest and prefer to walk, follow the main trails leading towards the forest. As you approach the reserve, look for signs pointing to the entrance. Depending on your starting point, this could take anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour. Wear comfortable walking shoes and carry water with you.
