Getting There

• Car

  From Feynan Ecolodge, head northwest on the main dirt road towards the Wadi Araba highway. Continue on this road for approximately 5 kilometers until you reach the junction with the Wadi Araba highway (Route 15). Turn left onto the highway and drive for about 10 kilometers. You will see signs for Nejel. Turn right onto the road leading to Nejel and continue for about 2 kilometers. جهير القديمة will be located on your right at the coordinates GGF5+57, Nejel.

• Public Transportation

  From Feynan Ecolodge, you will first need to arrange for a taxi to take you to the Wadi Araba highway, which is the nearest point for public transport access. This ride should take around 15 minutes and cost approximately 10-15 Jordanian Dinars (JOD). Once on the highway, look for a bus heading towards Nejel. Buses may not run frequently, so it's advisable to check the local schedule. The bus ride to Nejel will take about 30 minutes. After arriving in Nejel, you may need to walk approximately 1 kilometer to reach جهير القديمة, which will be on your left.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a direct and convenient option, you can hire a taxi directly from Feynan Ecolodge to جهير القديمة. The journey will take approximately 20-25 minutes. Discuss the fare with the driver beforehand; it should typically range from 15-20 Jordanian Dinars (JOD). The taxi will bring you directly to the location at GGF5+57, Nejel.
