Getting There

Walking
From the main entrance of Petra Archaeological Park, head towards the Siq, the narrow canyon that leads into Petra. Walk through the Siq, which is about 1.2 km long and takes approximately 20-30 minutes to walk through. Once you exit the Siq, you will reach the famous Al-Khazneh (The Treasury). From Al-Khazneh, take the path that leads you uphill towards the High Place of Sacrifice. As you ascend, keep an eye out for signs leading to the I Love Petra Sign. The sign is located on a hilltop with a panoramic view of the surrounding area, so you may need to walk a bit further up the trail to find the exact spot. The walk from Al-Khazneh to the I Love Petra Sign takes about 30-45 minutes.
