Getting There

• Walking

  From the center of Salt, head south on Al-Hussein Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with King Abdullah II Street. Turn right onto King Abdullah II Street and walk until you reach the bus station. From there, take a local bus heading to Madaba. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Madaba, disembark at the Madaba main bus station. From the bus station, walk east on King Abdullah II Street until you reach Prs. Haya Street. Turn left onto Prs. Haya Street. The St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church will be on your right after a few minutes of walking.

• Local Bus

  If you are in the city center of Salt, locate the nearest bus station and look for a bus heading to Madaba. The buses frequently depart, and you can ask locals for assistance if needed. Once on the bus, enjoy the scenic ride to Madaba, which takes about 30 minutes. When you arrive at Madaba bus station, exit the bus and walk east on King Abdullah II Street. After a short walk, turn left onto Prs. Haya Street, and you will find the St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church on your right.

• Taxi

  For a more comfortable option, consider taking a taxi from Salt to Madaba. You can hail a taxi from the street or ask your hotel to arrange one for you. The taxi ride will take approximately 25 minutes. Once you reach Madaba, ask the driver to drop you off at Prs. Haya Street. The St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church is located a short walk from where the taxi drops you off. Just walk along Prs. Haya Street, and the church will be on your right side.
