The Enchanting Bq'a Al-Munayin: A Hidden Gem in At-Tafilah

Getting There

• Walking

  From the center of Tafilah, head south towards the main mosque, Al-Omari Mosque. Continue straight past the mosque, keeping it on your left. After about 500 meters, you will reach the intersection with the main road. Turn right onto the main road (also known as Al-Hussein Street). Walk for approximately 1.5 kilometers until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the road leading towards the south. Continue for another 1 kilometer until you see a sign for بقعة المناعين. Follow the signs, and you will find the location about 500 meters further on your right.

• Bicycle

  Start at the center of Tafilah and rent a bicycle from a local shop. Head towards Al-Omari Mosque and continue straight as you would if walking. When you reach the main road, take a right on Al-Hussein Street and cycle towards the roundabout. At the roundabout, go straight on the second exit and continue cycling for about 1 kilometer. Look out for the sign pointing to بقعة المناعين and follow it for another 500 meters until you arrive at your destination.

• Public Transport (Bus)

  From the main bus station in Tafilah, find a bus heading south towards Ma'an. Inform the driver or the conductor that you want to get off at the stop for بقعة المناعين. The journey will take about 15 minutes. Once you get off, walk back for about 500 meters in the direction you came, and you will see the sign for بقعة المناعين on your left.
