Getting There

Walking
From the center of Umm Qais, head east on the main road towards the archaeological park. Continue walking straight for approximately 1.2 km until you reach the intersection near the Umm Qais Archaeological Site. At the intersection, turn left onto the road that leads down towards the Sea of Galilee. Follow this road for about 2.5 km until you see signs directing you to Tabgha. The Churches of Tabgha will be on your right side, just before you reach the shoreline.

Public Transport
Start at the Umm Qais bus station located near the archaeological park. There are local buses that run towards Tabgha. You will need to take a bus that is heading towards Tiberias. Ask the driver to drop you off at Tabgha. The journey takes approximately 20-30 minutes depending on traffic. Once you get off the bus, you will see the Churches of Tabgha within walking distance.

Bicycle Rental
If you prefer cycling, there are bicycle rental shops in Umm Qais. Rent a bike and head east on the main road towards the archaeological park. Continue on this path for about 1.2 km, then turn left at the intersection towards the Sea of Galilee. Follow the road for about 2.5 km until you see the signs for Tabgha. The Churches of Tabgha will be on your right side along the road.
