From the center of Umm Qais, start at the Umm Qais Archaeological Park. Head south on the main road, keeping the park entrance to your left. Continue along the road for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach a fork. Take the right path at the fork towards the Golan Heights. After walking for another 1 kilometer, you will come to a bus stop. Here, you can ask locals for directions to Gideon's Spring or continue walking. The path should lead you along a trail with beautiful views of the valley. Keep an eye out for signs pointing towards Ma'ayan Harod National Park. After approximately 3 kilometers of walking, you should arrive at the entrance to Ma'ayan Harod National Park. The park is generally open from 8 AM to 5 PM.
