Travel Guide to Giv'at HaMo're Reserve

Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, start from Afula city center. Head south on HaShmura Street towards HaMeyasdim Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Route 60. Turn left onto Route 60 and follow the signs for Giv'at HaMo're Reserve. After about 10 minutes, you will see signs for the reserve. Turn right onto the access road leading to the parking area. There is no entrance fee, but make sure to check for any parking costs.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Giv'at HaMo're Reserve via public transport, start by taking a bus from Afula Central Bus Station (תחנה מרכזית עפולה). Look for bus lines that head towards Jezreel Valley or specifically to the park. Buses like line 24 can take you close to the reserve. Once you arrive at the nearest bus stop, you may need to walk approximately 15-20 minutes to reach the park entrance. Be prepared for a short hike along the access road to the reserve.

• Walking

  If you're already nearby and prefer to walk, Giv'at HaMo're Reserve can be approached by foot from Afula. From the city center, head towards HaShmura Street and follow it until you reach Route 60. At the intersection, walk along the road (be cautious of traffic) for about 3 kilometers. Once you see the signs for the reserve, follow the access road that leads to the park entrance. This walk will take about 40-50 minutes and is a great way to enjoy the landscape.
