Getting There

    From the center of Umm Qais, head south towards the Umm Qais Archaeological Site. Follow the main road until you reach the entrance of the archaeological site. Once there, continue straight past the entrance and look for signs leading to Mount Tabor. The path will take you through some of the scenic views in the area. Keep walking for about 30 minutes, and you will start to see the peak of Mount Tabor in the distance. Follow the path that leads upward towards the mountain, and you will arrive at the base of Mount Tabor.

  • Bicycle

    If you have access to a bicycle, start from the main square in Umm Qais. Ride north on the main road for about 1.5 kilometers. You will pass by local shops and cafes. When you reach the fork in the road, take the left path which leads towards Mount Tabor. This route is mostly flat and offers beautiful views. Continue on this road for another 3 kilometers, and you will reach the entrance to Mount Tabor where you can park your bicycle and start your ascent.
