Getting There

    From Wadi Araba, take Route 90 north towards Eilat. After approximately 20 kilometers, you will reach the junction for Route 12. Turn left onto Route 12. Continue on Route 12 for about 30 kilometers until you reach the entrance to Makhtesh Ramon. There are signs along the way directing you to the Makhtesh Ramon area. Parking is available at the visitor center, and there may be a small entrance fee.

    Take a bus from Wadi Araba to Eilat. The bus should take about 30 minutes. Once in Eilat, transfer to a bus heading towards Mitzpe Ramon, which operates regularly. The journey from Eilat to Mitzpe Ramon will take approximately 1.5 hours. From Mitzpe Ramon, you can either take a taxi or check if there are shuttle services available to Makhtesh Ramon, which is around 10 kilometers away. Be sure to confirm the taxi fare beforehand.
