From Central Plains, head southeast on Main Street towards 1st Street. Continue straight to merge onto US-54 E. Follow US-54 E for approximately 20 miles. Take the exit towards I-235 N/Wichita and merge onto I-235 N. Continue on I-235 N for about 5 miles. Take exit 1B for US-400 E/Kellogg Ave. Merge onto US-400 E and continue for about 3 miles. Take the exit towards McLean Blvd and turn left onto N McLean Blvd. Exploration Place will be on your right at 300 N McLean Blvd, Wichita, KS 67203. Parking is available on-site, and may incur a fee.

From Central Plains, you will need to first get to the nearest bus station. Catch the local bus (check the Central Plains transit schedule) that heads towards Wichita. After arriving in Wichita, transfer to the Wichita Transit bus service. Take the bus route that stops near McLean Blvd. Once you are near N McLean Blvd, you can either walk or catch another local bus that goes directly to Exploration Place located at 300 N McLean Blvd, Wichita, KS 67203. Be sure to check the bus schedule for the latest timings and any fare costs.
