Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, start from the center of Central Plains and head north on Main Street. Continue on Main Street for about 3 miles until you reach the intersection with US-77. Turn left onto US-77 and follow it for approximately 10 miles. Take the exit toward Junction City and merge onto I-70 E. Continue on I-70 E for about 5 miles and exit at Junction City (Exit 295). After the exit, turn left onto US-40 E and then make another left onto N Spring Valley Rd. Follow N Spring Valley Rd for about 2 miles and you will find Spring Valley Historic Site on your right at 816 N Spring Valley Rd, Junction City, KS 66441. There's parking available on-site.

  For public transportation, you can take the Greyhound bus service from various locations in Central Plains to Junction City. Check the schedule for departure times. Once you arrive at the Junction City bus station, you will need to take a taxi or rideshare service (like Uber or Lyft) to reach Spring Valley Historic Site.
