Walking
If you are starting from the Dodge City Historic Depot, head west on Wyatt Earp Blvd. Walk straight for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with US-50. Continue walking straight onto US-50, which is also known as Central Ave. After approximately 0.7 miles, you will reach the intersection with US-56. Turn left onto US-56. Follow US-56 for about 3 miles. The Feed Yard Scenic Overlook will be located on your right side. Look for the signs indicating the overlook.

Starting from the Dodge City Public Library, head east on Spruce St. Continue for about 0.3 miles until you reach 2nd Ave. Turn left onto 2nd Ave and proceed for another 0.5 miles. You will merge onto US-50. Continue on US-50 for about 0.5 miles and then turn left onto US-56. After about 3 miles on US-56, the Feed Yard Scenic Overlook will be on your right. Be cautious of the traffic as you approach the overlook.
