Getting There

• Walking

  Start at the Dodge City Welcome Center located at 400 W Wyatt Earp Blvd. Exit the center and head west on Wyatt Earp Blvd until you reach the intersection with 2nd Ave. Turn left onto 2nd Ave and continue south until you reach the intersection with US-400. From there, you will need to head east along US-400. It is important to note that the Coronado Cross is approximately 5.5 miles away from the Welcome Center, so this will be a long walk through the outskirts of Dodge City. Make sure to keep an eye on your surroundings and stay safe while walking along the highway. Your destination will be on the right side of US-400, just before you reach the intersection with 11666 US-400.

• Bicycling

  If you're bicycling, start at the Dodge City Welcome Center located at 400 W Wyatt Earp Blvd. Head west on Wyatt Earp Blvd, and then turn left onto 2nd Ave. Continue south on 2nd Ave until you reach US-400. Once you reach US-400, turn east and follow the road for about 5.5 miles. Please note that this route involves riding on a highway, so be cautious and wear a helmet. The Coronado Cross will be on your right as you approach the address 11666 US-400.

• Public Transportation

  Currently, there is no direct public transportation route to the Coronado Cross from downtown Dodge City. However, you can take a local taxi or rideshare service from the Dodge City Welcome Center at 400 W Wyatt Earp Blvd to the destination. Simply request a ride to 11666 US-400, and the driver will take you directly there. This is the most efficient way to reach the site without walking a long distance.
