If you are starting from downtown Kansas City, you can take the KC Streetcar. Board the streetcar at any stop along Main Street heading south. Ride the streetcar until you reach the stop at 3rd & Grand. From there, transfer to bus route 101 at the same stop heading towards the 'Civic Center'. Get off at the stop on 16th Street. Walk west on 16th Street for about 0.3 miles until you reach 800 W 16th St, where the Kansas City Skyline Viewpoint is located.

If you are in the Power and Light District, head west on E 14th St until you reach Baltimore Ave. Turn left and walk south on Baltimore Ave until you reach 16th St. Turn right on 16th St and walk west for about 0.5 miles. The Kansas City Skyline Viewpoint will be at 800 W 16th St.

For those who prefer biking, you can rent a bike from a local bike-sharing program. Start at the River Market area and head south on the riverfront bike path. Follow the path as it curves west around the river and connects to the downtown bike lanes.
