Getting There

• Walking

  From the heart of Downtown Kansas City, head west on 12th Street towards the intersection with Broadway Boulevard. Once you reach Broadway Boulevard, turn left and continue south for about 0.5 miles. You will pass several shops and restaurants along the way. After you cross the intersection with 16th Street, look for a path that leads towards the Kansas City Skyline Viewpoint, located at 800 W 16th St. The viewpoint is a popular spot for panoramic views of the Kansas City skyline.

• Public Transit (Bus)

  If you prefer to take public transit, locate the nearest bus stop on 12th Street. Take the RideKC bus #57 towards the Westside. Stay on the bus for about 5 stops and get off at the 16th Street and Broadway Boulevard stop. From there, walk west on 16th Street for a short distance until you reach the Kansas City Skyline Viewpoint at 800 W 16th St. The bus fare is around $1.50 for a single ride.

  For those who enjoy biking, you can rent a bike from one of the local bike-sharing programs available in Downtown Kansas City. Find a bike station, and head west on 12th Street towards Broadway Boulevard. Once you reach Broadway, turn left and bike south until you reach 16th Street. Then, turn right on 16th Street and follow it to the viewpoint at 800 W 16th St. Ensure to wear a helmet and follow bike safety rules. Bike rentals typically cost around $5 for a one-hour ride.
