Walking
From the center of Lawrence, head east on Massachusetts Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with 6th Street. Turn right onto 6th Street and continue until you reach the bus stop at 6th & Vermont. Take the Jayhawk Express bus (Route 29) towards the Lawrence Bus Station. Once you arrive at the Lawrence Bus Station, transfer to the Greyhound service to Boston, MA. Make sure to check the bus schedule for departure times. Upon arrival in Boston, walk towards the nearest subway station and take the Orange Line towards North Station. Get off at Haymarket Station. From Haymarket, walk south on Blackstone Street, turn left onto Hanover Street, and then right onto Warrenton Street. Charles Playhouse will be on your left at 74 Warrenton St.

Public Transit
Start at the Lawrence Transit Center located at 5th & Vermont. Board the bus #34 to the Lawrence Bus Station. Once there, purchase a ticket for the Greyhound bus service to Boston. After arriving in Boston, take the subway at South Station. Board the Red Line towards Alewife and transfer to the Orange Line at Haymarket Station. Take the Orange Line towards North Station and disembark at Haymarket. Exit the station and head south on Blackstone Street. Turn left onto Hanover Street, then right onto Warrenton Street. Walk a short distance and you will see the Charles Playhouse at 74 Warrenton St.

If you prefer biking, rent a bike from a local bike shop in Lawrence. Start at the Lawrence River Trail and head southeast towards 6th Street. Once you reach 6th Street, take a left and follow it until you reach the Lawrence Bus Station. From there, you can catch the Greyhound service to Boston. Upon your arrival in Boston, bike from the bus stop to the nearest subway station. Use the subway to reach Haymarket Station, and then bike south on Blackstone Street, turning left onto Hanover Street and right onto Warrenton Street until you reach the Charles Playhouse.
