From the downtown area of Lawrence, head to the nearest bus stop. Take the Lawrence Transit bus Route 1 toward the Lawrence Bus Depot. Once at the bus depot, transfer to the Greyhound bus service going towards Boston. After arriving in Boston, you can take the MBTA subway from South Station. Board the Red Line toward Alewife and get off at Park Street. From Park Street, transfer to the Green Line and ride to Government Center. Finally, exit the station and walk southeast along Atlantic Avenue for about 5 minutes until you reach the Observation Deck at Independence Wharf, located at 470 Atlantic Ave.

If you are staying in downtown Lawrence, start at the intersection of Massachusetts St. and 8th St. Walk east on 8th Street until it turns into New Hampshire St. Continue straight until you reach the bus terminal. From there, follow the same steps as the public bus option to take a bus to Boston.

If you prefer to ride a bike, you can rent one at a local bike shop in downtown Lawrence. Follow the bike paths leading to the Lawrence Bus Depot. Once there, you can catch a bus to Boston, and then follow the previously mentioned instructions for reaching the Observation Deck at Independence Wharf.
