Getting There

  • Bus

    From the center of Manhattan, head to the Aggieville area where the nearest bus stop is located at 11th and Moro. Catch the Flint Hills Area Transportation Agency (FHATA) bus route that heads towards Junction City. Make sure to check the bus schedule for the next departure. Once you arrive in Junction City, disembark at the stop nearest to the Milford Nature Center, which is approximately a 15-minute walk away.

  • Bicycle

    If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Manhattan. Start your journey by heading west on Anderson Ave toward K-18. Continue on K-18 and follow the signs for Junction City. Once you reach Junction City, follow Hatchery Drive until you arrive at the Milford Nature Center, which will be on your right.

  • Walking

    If you are up for a long walk, start at the Manhattan Town Center and head west along Poyntz Ave. Continue straight until you reach K-18. Cross over to the other side of the highway and follow the path along K-18 towards Junction City. Once you reach Junction City, turn onto Hatchery Drive and continue walking until you reach the Milford Nature Center on your right.
