Start at the Manhattan City Park located at 1101 Fremont St. Head west on Fremont St towards 11th St. Turn left onto 11th St and continue south until you reach Poyntz Ave. Cross Poyntz Ave and continue south on 11th St which becomes 3rd St. After crossing Anderson Ave, 3rd St will lead you directly to the Manhattan Town Center. From there, you can catch a bus at the nearest stop, which is the Manhattan Town Center, using the K-State bus service. Take the bus towards Fort Riley. After a short ride, get off at the Fort Riley stop. From there, walk towards Huebner Rd, and follow the signs to the First Territorial Capitol State Historic Site, which is located at 693 Huebner Rd, Fort Riley, KS.

Begin your journey at the Manhattan City Park located at 1101 Fremont St. Head west on Fremont St towards 11th St and turn left on 11th St. Continue south until you reach Poyntz Ave. Take a right on Poyntz Ave and proceed west. Continue straight until you reach Fort Riley Blvd. Turn left onto Fort Riley Blvd and follow it until you reach Huebner Rd.
