Take the Wichita City bus (bus route 21) from downtown Wichita. Board the bus at the nearest stop, which can be found along Douglas Ave. The bus will take you northbound towards the Veterans Parkway. Stay on the bus for approximately 20 minutes. You will want to disembark at the stop closest to 339 Veterans Pkwy. From there, walk east on Veterans Pkwy for about 5 minutes until you reach Veterans Memorial Park.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from a local bike-sharing program. Start from the city center and head northwest on the bike paths. Follow the bike route signs towards the Arkansas River. Once you reach the river, take the path along the riverbank heading north until you reach the intersection with Veterans Pkwy. Turn left onto Veterans Pkwy and continue for about 10 minutes to reach Veterans Memorial Park.

For those who enjoy walking, you can start from the downtown area. Head west on Douglas Ave until you reach the Arkansas River. Turn left and walk along the riverbank heading north. Continue walking until you reach the pedestrian bridge that crosses the river. Once across the bridge, turn right and follow the path that leads to Veterans Pkwy. Walk along Veterans Pkwy for about 15 minutes until you arrive at Veterans Memorial Park.
