If you're traveling by car, start from Almaty city center. Head east on Abay Avenue and continue onto the Almaty Ring Road (A2). Follow signs for the Ile-Alatau National Park. Once you reach the park entrance, pay the entrance fee (approximately 1000 KZT per person). Continue driving on the main road through the park until you reach the area near the foot of the mountains. Follow the signs for Kamennyy Tsvetok. Park your car in the designated parking area near the trailhead.

To reach Kamennyy Tsvetok via public transportation, take a bus from Almaty to the nearest point within the Ile-Alatau National Park. Buses (such as route 28) leave from the Almaty bus station. The fare is around 300 KZT. Ask the driver to stop at the entrance of Ile-Alatau National Park. After that, you may need to walk (or take a taxi) to the trailhead leading to Kamennyy Tsvetok, as public transportation does not reach the site directly. The walk from the entrance to the trailhead is approximately 5 km.
