Getting There

Walking
Start from the center of Covington, specifically at the Covington City Hall located at 20 W Pike St, Covington, KY 41011. Head east on Pike Street until you reach the intersection with Madison Avenue. Turn left onto Madison Avenue. Continue walking on Madison Avenue until you reach the bridge that crosses the Ohio River. This bridge is the John A. Roebling Suspension Bridge. Cross the bridge, enjoying the views of the river and Cincinnati skyline. Once you reach the Kentucky side, you’ll arrive in Newport, KY. After crossing, continue straight onto 3rd Street. Follow 3rd Street until you reach the intersection with the Newport on the Levee complex. Newport Aquarium is located at 1 Levee Way, which is part of the Newport on the Levee entertainment district. You will see the aquarium entrance clearly marked.

Public Transit
From Covington, you can take the TANK public bus service. Head to the nearest bus stop on 6th Street at Madison Avenue. Catch the TANK Route 1 or Route 2 towards Cincinnati. Get off at the stop at 3rd and Elm Street in Newport. Walk towards 3rd Street and head east until you see the Newport on the Levee complex. Newport Aquarium is located at 1 Levee Way within the complex.
