From Covington, head to the nearest bus stop on 4th St. and take the TANK Route 1 towards the Cincinnati Downtown. After approximately 20 minutes, get off at the Hamilton Bus Station. From there, transfer to the Butler County Regional Transit Authority (BCRTA) bus, specifically the Route 1, which will take you directly to the Butler County Courthouse. The courthouse is located at 101 High St, Hamilton, OH 45011, just a short walk from the bus stop.

Make your way to the Cincinnati Union Terminal by taking the TANK Route 1 bus from Covington. Once at the terminal, board the Amtrak train towards Chicago and get off at the Hamilton stop. From the train station, it's a 15-minute walk to the Butler County Courthouse. Head northwest on S. B St. and then turn right onto High St. The courthouse will be on your left.

If you're comfortable biking, rent a bike from a local rental shop in Covington. Follow the Riverwalk Path north along the Ohio River until you reach the bridge leading to Hamilton. Cross the bridge and continue on High St. until you arrive at 101 High St, Hamilton, OH 45011, where the Butler County Courthouse is located. The bike ride should take about 45 minutes.
