Walking

From the center of Fort Thomas, head south on Fort Thomas Avenue. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Grand Avenue. Turn right onto Grand Avenue and follow it as it curves and becomes 7th Street. Continue until you reach the intersection with Newport Avenue. Turn left onto Newport Avenue and follow it to the riverfront. Once you reach the river, you can follow the pedestrian path along the Ohio River, which will lead you towards Newport. From Fort Thomas, you can catch the TANK bus route 1 or 2 at the nearest bus stop. If you are on Route 1, you will need to get off at the Newport Pavilion. From there, transfer to Route 3 towards downtown Newport. Get off at the stop closest to the Newport Riverfront.
