From Fort Thomas, head to the nearest bus stop on Highland Avenue. You can catch the TANK bus route 1 that goes towards downtown Cincinnati. Stay on the bus until you reach the Hamilton bus terminal. From the terminal, transfer to the Butler County bus route that heads to Hamilton. Get off at the stop closest to 101 High St, Hamilton, OH 45011. The Butler County Courthouse will be within walking distance from the bus stop.
Bicycle
If you prefer biking, you can rent a bike from one of the rental stations in Fort Thomas. Start from the center of Fort Thomas and head northwest on Alexandria Pike. Follow the bike lanes and continue onto Hamilton Ave. You will pass through various neighborhoods and eventually reach High St in Hamilton. The Butler County Courthouse is located at 101 High St, which is easily accessible once you enter Hamilton.
Walking
To walk to the Butler County Courthouse, start from the center of Fort Thomas. Head west on Fort Thomas Ave towards Highland Ave. Continue onto Alexandria Pike, then follow the pedestrian paths leading towards Hamilton. Once you reach the intersection of Hamilton Ave and High St, turn left and walk a short distance. The courthouse will be on your right at 101 High St. Ensure to watch for traffic while walking along the roads.
