If you are in downtown Henderson, start at the intersection of 1st Street and Main Street. Head north on 1st Street until you reach the intersection with Washington Street. Turn left onto Washington Street and continue walking until you reach the intersection with 3rd Street. Turn right onto 3rd Street and follow it as it curves into Green Street. Continue straight on Green Street until it turns into Highway 41. Cross the highway carefully, and then follow the road signs pointing towards Audubon Wetlands Trail. The trail entrance will be on your left after about a mile.

Start at the Henderson Riverfront Park, located at the end of Water Street. From the park, take the bike path along the Ohio River heading northwest until you reach the intersection with 1st Street. Turn left onto 1st Street and continue until you hit Washington Street. Turn right onto Washington Street, then follow it to 3rd Street and turn left. Continue straight until you reach Highway 41. After crossing the highway, follow the signs indicating the direction to Audubon Wetlands Trail. It's about a mile from the highway to the entrance of the trail.

Begin at the Henderson Transit Center located at 300 1st Street. Take Bus Route 1 towards the northern part of Henderson. Get off at the stop near the intersection of Highway 41 and Green Street. From there, you will need to walk north along Green Street, which will lead you to the Audubon Wetlands Trail entrance approximately a mile down the road.
