Walking
From the Henderson Convention Center, head northwest on Convention Center Drive toward US-41. Turn left onto US-41 and walk straight for about 1.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Water Street. Continue walking straight, crossing over the Ohio River via the US-41 bridge. After crossing, stay on the same road until you reach the roundabout. Take the first exit onto the Great Basin Hwy, where you will find the River Mountains Loop Trail at 2800 Great Basin Hwy.

From the Henderson Bus Station, take the Bus Route 11 towards the East Side. Ride for about 15 minutes until you reach the stop at Water Street and US-41. From there, you will need to walk across the bridge over the Ohio River. Once you cross, follow the road to the roundabout and take the first exit onto the Great Basin Hwy. Continue walking for about 10 minutes to reach the River Mountains Loop Trail at 2800 Great Basin Hwy.
