Walking
If you are in downtown Henderson, start at the intersection of Main Street and 1st Street. Head north on 1st Street until you reach the intersection with Washington Street. Turn left onto Washington Street and continue walking until you reach US-41. Cross over to the other side of US-41, and continue walking north. The park entrance will be on your left after about a 15-minute walk.

For cyclists starting from downtown Henderson, take the Riverwalk Trail heading south along the Ohio River. Follow the trail until you reach the junction with US-41. Turn right onto US-41 and continue north for about 2 miles. The entrance to John James Audubon State Park will be on your left. This route is approximately 30 minutes depending on your cycling speed.
