Getting There

• Walking

  If you're starting from the Owensboro Convention Center, head southwest on 2nd Street. Continue on 2nd Street for about 1.5 miles until you reach the intersection with W 4th Street. Turn left onto W 4th Street and walk for about half a mile until you reach W 3rd Street. Turn right onto W 3rd Street, and then take another quick left onto W 2nd Street. Continue walking for about a mile, and you will reach Joe Ford Nature Park on your left at 3870 W 2nd St.

  From the Riverwalk, head east on W 2nd Street. Follow W 2nd Street for about 2 miles, passing by several local shops and restaurants. As you approach the intersection with W 4th Street, continue straight until you reach Joe Ford Nature Park located at 3870 W 2nd St. This route is mostly flat and provides a scenic ride along the way.

  Check the local bus schedule for the Owensboro transit system. Take the bus route that heads toward the West Owensboro area.
