If you're traveling by car within the Red River Gorge Geological Area, begin at the Red River Gorge Visitor Center located at 3451 Sky Bridge Road, Stanton, KY 40380. From the Visitor Center, head south on Sky Bridge Road for about 1.5 miles until you reach the intersection with KY-15. Turn right onto KY-15 South and continue for approximately 2.5 miles. Look for the entrance to the Gray's Arch Trailhead on your left. The parking area can accommodate several vehicles, but be sure to arrive early as it can fill up quickly. Parking is free.

After parking at the Gray's Arch Trailhead, follow the marked trail that leads to Gray's Arch. The hike is about 0.5 miles and is moderately challenging. The path is well-maintained but can be rocky and uneven in places. Make sure to wear sturdy hiking shoes and bring water. The trail is marked with signs, and you will see a few forks in the path, but the signs will guide you directly to the arch. Enjoy the scenic views along the way!
