Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from downtown Henderson, head south on South Main Street. Continue straight for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Highway 60. Turn left onto Highway 60 and walk for about 0.3 miles. You will pass by several shops and restaurants. After about 10 minutes of walking, you will reach the intersection with Highway 351. Turn right onto Highway 351 and continue walking for approximately 1.2 miles. Sandy Lee Watkins Park will be on your left at 16040 KY-351. Look for the park entrance, which will have signage indicating the park's name.

• Bicycle

  For those cycling in Henderson, start from the Henderson Riverwalk. Head east towards South Main Street and take a left onto Main Street. Continue south for about 0.5 miles until you reach Highway 60. Turn left onto Highway 60 and bike for about 0.3 miles. Next, take a right onto Highway 351. Cycle straight for approximately 1.2 miles on Highway 351, and you will see Sandy Lee Watkins Park on your left at 16040 KY-351. There is a bike rack available at the park entrance.

  If you prefer public transportation, check the local bus schedule for routes that serve the area. Take the bus that heads towards the Henderson Mall and get off at the stop near Highway 60 and South Main Street. From there, walk south on Main Street for about 0.5 miles, then turn left onto Highway 60. After walking about 0.3 miles, turn right onto Highway 351. Continue walking for about 1.2 miles until you reach Sandy Lee Watkins Park on your left at 16040 KY-351.
