Car
From Nyeri town, head southwest on the A2 highway towards Mombasa. Continue for about 40 kilometers until you reach the junction near Molo. Take the left turn onto the B2 road towards Nakuru. After approximately 20 kilometers, you will come across the sign for South-Western Mau National Reserve. Follow the signs and take the C31 road leading directly to the reserve entrance. Ensure to have your park fees ready, which typically range from KES 500 - KES 1,000 per person.

Public Transportation (Matatus)
From Nyeri town, take a matatu (shared taxi) heading to Molo. The fare should be around KES 150. Once you reach Molo, you'll need to find another matatu heading to Nakuru. Alight at the junction leading to the South-Western Mau National Reserve. You may need to hire a motorcycle taxi (boda-boda) from this junction to the entrance of the reserve, which should cost about KES 200 - KES 300.
