From Diani Beach, head north along the Diani Beach Road. Continue for about 10 kilometers until you reach the junction with the Likoni Ferry Road. Turn right onto the Likoni Ferry Road and follow it to the ferry terminal. Take the ferry across the channel to Mombasa Island. Once you disembark, turn left onto Nkurumah Road, and Fort Jesus will be ahead on your left, approximately 1.5 kilometers from the ferry terminal.

Matatu (Public Minibus)
From Diani Beach, walk to the main road (Diani Beach Road) and look for a matatu heading to Mombasa. These matatus frequently depart from the Diani Beach area and will take you to the Likoni Ferry terminal. Once you reach the terminal, you will need to take the ferry to Mombasa Island. After crossing, take another matatu or a taxi to Fort Jesus, which is located on Nkurumah Road. It’s about a 10-minute drive from the ferry terminal.

If you're feeling adventurous and are up for a long walk, you can start at Diani Beach and walk north along the beach towards the main road. Head up to the Diani Beach Road and then follow it north until you reach the Likoni Ferry terminal. After taking the ferry across to Mombasa, walk to Nkurumah Road and continue on foot until you reach Fort Jesus, located on your left.
