For a more leisurely approach, you can walk to Shakatak Disco. Start from the Diani Beach public beach area and head north along the beach. When you reach the Diani Beach Road, turn left. Walk along the road until you pass the Diani Shopping Centre, and continue walking until you reach the Diana Sea Lodge. Shakatak Disco is located just after the lodge on the same side of the road.

You can easily hire a tuk-tuk (a three-wheeled taxi) from almost anywhere in Diani Beach. Simply tell the driver you want to go to Shakatak Disco, near the Diana Sea Lodge on Diani Beach Road. The driver will take you directly to the entrance, making it a convenient option for those who prefer not to walk or cycle.

Look for matatus (shared minivans) that travel along Diani Beach Road. Board a matatu heading towards Ukunda and ask the conductor to drop you off near the Diana Sea Lodge. From there, it’s just a short walk to Shakatak Disco, which is located right after the lodge on the same side of the road.
