If you're in Diani Beach, you can rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops along the beach. Head south along the beach road (Diani Beach Road) towards Ukunda. Continue straight for about 3 kilometers. You'll pass several hotels and restaurants on your way. Look for signs directing you to Southern Palms Beach Resort, which is located on the left side of the road at Plot LR 13430. The resort is easily identifiable by its lush gardens and beachfront access.
Walking
For those who prefer to walk, start from the Diani Beach Centre. Head south along Diani Beach Road. It's approximately a 30-minute walk. Follow the road as it curves slightly, and stay on the look out for Southern Palms Beach Resort on your left. The resort is located at Plot LR 13430 and features a stunning entrance with tropical plants and a welcoming atmosphere.
Tuk-Tuk
To reach Southern Palms Beach Resort by tuk-tuk, simply flag down a tuk-tuk from anywhere in Diani Beach. Tell the driver you want to go to Southern Palms Beach Resort, located at Plot LR 13430, Diani Beach Road. The ride will take about 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic. Ensure you have some Kenyan shillings on hand for the fare, which should be around 100-300 KES.
Public Bus
Take a public bus (matatu) from Diani Beach to Ukunda. Board the bus at one of the designated bus stops, and inform the conductor that you want to get off near Southern Palms Beach Resort. The bus will stop at various points along the route, and you should keep an eye out for the resort’s sign as you approach. Once you get off, walk a short distance back towards the resort on Diani Beach Road.
