If you are traveling by car, start your journey from the nearest town, Embu. Head southeast on the Embu-Makutano Road (A2) until you reach the junction with the Meru-Embu Road (A3). Turn left onto the A3 and continue for about 30 kilometers. Look for the sign towards Barsombe, where you will take a right turn onto a local road. Follow this road for approximately 10 kilometers, and you will arrive at Kabianga Way, located at W9F6+MX6 near Barsombe.
Public Transportation
For those using public transport, take a matatu (shared taxi) from Embu to Meru. Once you arrive in Meru, switch to another matatu heading towards Barsombe. Inform the driver that you want to get off near Kabianga Way. The matatu ride from Meru to Barsombe should take around 45 minutes. After getting off, you may need to walk about 1.5 kilometers to reach Kabianga Way at W9F6+MX6.
Bicycle
If you're feeling adventurous, you can rent a bicycle in Embu and cycle to Kabianga Way. Start on the Embu-Makutano Road (A2) heading southeast. After about 10 kilometers, you will turn left onto the Meru-Embu Road (A3). Continue for another 30 kilometers before turning right towards Barsombe. The ride will be scenic but be prepared for some rough terrain as you approach the destination.
Walking
If you are nearby and looking to explore on foot, you can walk from Barsombe village. Start by heading southeast from the village center. Follow the well-trodden path that leads towards Kabianga Way. It's approximately a 2-kilometer walk. Make sure to ask locals for directions if needed, as they can provide the best routes through the area.
